Some Alaska Costco Shoppers Say Ravens Steal Their Groceries
Some Alaska Costco customers said they’ve had their staple goods taken by ravens in the store parking garage.
Matt Lewallen said he was pressing his goods into his vehicle in the parking area of an Anchorage Costco when ravens dove in to take a short rib from his truck, the Anchorage Daily News revealed Friday.
“I in a real sense removed 10 stages and pivoted, two ravens descended and in a split second got one out of the bundle, scammed it and took off with it,” Lewallen said.
Lewallen said the piece of meat was around 4-by-7 inches (10-by-18 centimeters) huge — a sizable supper for a sizable bird.
“They understand what they’re doing; it’s not their first time,” Lewallen said. “They’re extremely fat so I think they have an entire framework there.”
What’s more, when he got back home, he saw that one of the ravens had taken a jab at another rib however didn’t ransack it.
“I cut that meat out and began marinating it and my better half said, ‘That is gross, we should take it back,’ ” Lewallen said. “Costco really took it back even after we had begun marinating them and gave us a full discount.”

Dock occupant Tamara Josey answered to Waller’s post and alluded to the ravens as “ascertaining.” She said ravens floated her trying to take her food supplies.
“I had two ravens, one that was on the vehicle close to me and he continued cackling truly noisy,” Josey said. “He would sit on the vehicle and gaze at me, at that point jump close to the bed of the truck on the opposite side, and he continued going to and fro. The other raven was on the ground. He continued attempting to pull — I had those little small melons you have in the lattice baggies — he continued attempting to snatch the netting and pull my melons off the truck.”…
